My Story
How I came to Hartsville, South Carolina
After owning a successful pet grooming business in the Fort Lauderdale area (as well as working for an extremely busy pet grooming business in upscale Boca Raton, Florida), you may be wondering why I have a shop in Hartsville?
Well, here’s how I got here!
In May of 2018 an all employee meeting was called at the engineering company that my husband Dave works for. The meeting was devastating news. It was announced that the facility that he had been working for the past 32 years was closing its doors for good in South Florida.
(Luckily, he was granted a job transfer to Florence, South Carolina).
To make a long story short, both of us love the country and we decided that since we’re going to move; it would be to a place that we both really love.
Hartsville is the place!
Hartsville has everything that we could ever ask for! That beautiful American small-town pride and that true southern hospitality from the members of the community.
Hartsville is absolutely perfect!
I have decided that I would really enjoy having a much smaller business than what I was used to in the fast-paced life of South Florida. A home-based business is now my reality right here in Hartsville.
I truly LOVE pet grooming and as a pet lover it is something that makes me one happy gal.
The bad news and the stress of having my husbands place of business close has turned into a blessing. He has settled into his new location and now I have as well.
We’re both so happy to be here and I'm happy to be doing what I love right here in the pines of Hartsville, SC!
